Responsibilities
- Develop substation layout drawings including plans and elevations.
- Create substation one lines, three lines, and various system layouts.
- Prepare calculations and reports for client presentations.
- Write equipment specifications for substation equipment and components.
- Collaborate internally to pursue power substation projects.
- Build and maintain client relationships across multiple disciplines.
- Participate in the preparation of proposals, bids, reports, and presentations.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer License or on track to obtain it.
- 3+ years of experience in design and project management in the power and utility industry.
- Experience with project management software.
- Design experience in high voltage substations and distribution projects.
- Proven ability to create quality technical solutions.
- Commitment to business performance and continuous improvement.
