Responsibilities
- Develop substation layout drawings, including plans and elevations.
- Create substation one lines, three lines, and various power system schematics.
- Prepare calculations and reports for client presentations.
- Draft equipment specifications for substation components.
- Collaborate on power substation projects to enhance company presence.
- Build and maintain client relationships across multiple disciplines.
- Contribute to proposal preparation, bids, reports, and presentations.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer License or in the process of obtaining it.
- 3+ years of experience in design, engineering, and project management in the power and utility industry.
- Familiarity with project management software.
- Design experience in high voltage substations and distribution projects.
- Ability to create quality technical solutions for major power delivery projects.
- Commitment to business performance and continuous improvement.
