Responsibilities
- Develop substation layout drawings and designs for new and existing substations.
- Prepare calculations and reports to present to clients.
- Create equipment specifications for substation components and construction.
- Collaborate on power substation projects to increase company presence in the industry.
- Build and maintain client relationships across multiple disciplines.
- Actively participate in proposal preparation, bids, and presentations.
- Utilize project management software for scope, schedule, and budget management.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer License or in the process of obtaining it.
- 3+ years of experience in design, engineering, and project management within the power and utility industry.
- Design experience in high voltage substations and distribution projects.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project).
- Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Inventor is preferred.
- Commitment to strong business performance and continuous improvement.
