Responsibilities

  • Assist in executing reliability and performance testing of materials, components, and systems.
  • Collect and analyze test data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential failure modes.
  • Help design experiments and test protocols to validate new product concepts.
  • Support root cause analysis efforts on failures in development or fielded products.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with reliability, materials, and design engineering teams.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations on findings and recommendations.
  • Develop an X-Ray Tomography method to analyze module assemblies.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with basic reliability and failure analysis concepts (e.g., thermal cycling, HALT/HASS, fatigue testing).
  • Experience with lab tools, data acquisition systems, or test equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Availability for a full-time summer internship (typically 8–12 weeks).
