Responsibilities
- Act as a responsible engineer in bringing hardware from concept to production.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design and test complex mechanical systems.
- Conduct tolerance analysis at the system and subsystem levels.
- Plan and execute tests to evaluate equipment performance and feasibility.
- Build, integrate, and validate designs and subsystems hands-on.
- Develop continuous improvement plans for system performance and reliability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
- Hands-on design experience from internships or engineering projects.
- Full life-cycle hardware design experience from calculations to CAD and testing.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
- Advanced degree (Master's, PhD) in mechanical engineering is a plus.
- 4+ years of experience in designing mechanical systems for industrial applications.
- Knowledge of motion control, kinematics, and fluid or thermal systems is advantageous.
