Responsibilities
- Understand printing system capabilities and collaborate with engineering teams to automate the printing process.
- Drive all stages of print production development, including DFAM feedback and quality control.
- Analyze data and part quality to drive continuous improvement.
- Employ first-principles thinking to solve problems and provide technical recommendations.
- Document requirements, objectives, and procedures to align team members.
- Communicate Freeform's technical capabilities to external customers and improve DFAM.
- Contribute to internal technology development through stakeholder feedback.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering from an accredited institution.
- Hands-on design experience from internships or engineering clubs.
- Full life-cycle hardware design experience from calculations to testing.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with metal 3D printing is a plus.
- Team-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for additive manufacturing.
