Responsibilities
- Design, build, and innovate new 3D printing techniques.
- Implement improvements to current products based on experimental results.
- Evaluate printer performance for potential improvements.
- Design and execute experiments to inform software or hardware improvements.
- Tackle complex problems across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Collaborate with various engineering teams.
- Maintain a portfolio of engineering work/projects.
Job Requirements
- Strong willingness to question assumptions and support findings with data.
- Ability to work autonomously and conduct research.
- Experience with experiment design and data analysis.
- Understanding of programming and scientific computing (Python or Matlab preferred).
- Familiarity with mechanical design, mechatronics, CAD modeling, and prototyping.
- Previous work experience on a consumer product.
- Developed physics-based models of complex systems.
