Responsibilities
- Design, build, and innovate new 3D printing techniques.
- Implement improvements to current products based on experimental results.
- Evaluate printer performance for areas of improvement.
- Design and execute experiments to inform hardware or software improvements.
- Tackle complex problems across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Conduct research autonomously and analyze data.
- Develop physics-based models of complex systems.
Job Requirements
- Willingness to question assumptions and back them up with data.
- Experience with experiment design and data analysis.
- Understanding of programming and scientific computing, ideally Python or Matlab.
- Familiarity with mechanical design, mechatronics, and CAD modeling.
- Previous work on a consumer product.
- Hands-on prototyping experience.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across teams.
