Responsibilities
- Design, build, and innovate new 3D printing techniques.
- Collaborate with teams to implement product improvements.
- Evaluate current printer performance for enhancements.
- Design and execute experiments to inform software or hardware improvements.
- Tackle complex problems across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Question assumptions and support findings with data.
- Work autonomously on research tasks.
Job Requirements
- Experience with experiment design and data analysis.
- Proficiency in programming and scientific computing (ideally Python or Matlab).
- Familiarity with mechanical design, mechatronics, CAD modeling, and prototyping.
- Previous work on consumer products.
- Ability to develop physics-based models of complex systems.
- A portfolio of previous engineering work/projects is required.
- Willingness to engage in a multi-disciplinary environment and question assumptions.
