Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on prototyping and verification testing of subsystem designs.
- Drive instrumentation, data collection, and data analysis for system-level validation builds.
- Own design of components and small assemblies for volume manufacturing.
- Run and analyze trials to inform specifications and future design direction.
- Execute ambitious product development processes on tight timelines.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Bachelor's with 1+ years experience or Master's with relevant experience.
- Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred) for designing parts and assemblies.
- Experience in writing, executing, and analyzing test plans for data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with prototyping techniques and machine shop environments.
- Strong fundamentals in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and mechanics.
- Willingness to collaborate with a cross-functional team to solve complex problems.
- Ability to travel domestically approximately 15% of the time.
