Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on prototyping and verification testing of subsystem designs
- Drive instrumentation, data collection, and data analysis for system-level validation builds
- Own design of components and small assemblies for volume manufacturing
- Run and analyze trials to inform specifications and future design direction
- Execute ambitious product development processes on tight timelines
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Bachelor's with 1+ years experience or Master's with research or professional experience
- Experience using CAD (SolidWorks preferred) for design
- Exposure to writing, executing, and analyzing test plans
- Experience with prototyping techniques and machine shop environment
- Strong fundamentals in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and mechanics
- Desire to contribute with a cross-functional team to solve challenging problems
- Ability to travel domestically approximately 15% of the time
