Responsibilities

  • Develop, design, build, or purchase manufacturing workstations and equipment.
  • Collaborate with equipment integrators from development to operations handoff.
  • Install, commission, and qualify new equipment and fixtures.
  • Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) feedback to the engineering team.
  • Document robust processes ensuring safety, uptime, and quality.
  • Debug and resolve time-sensitive issues with manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Train hands-on labor on new manufacturing equipment and processes.

Job Requirements

  • BS in Engineering; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • 3+ years of equipment or manufacturing engineering experience in an electro-mechanical assembly environment.
  • Ability to support the purchase and setup of novel automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience in writing Standard Operating Procedures and manufacturing documentation.
  • Collaboration skills with design engineers for DFM feedback.
  • Hands-on experience in building and testing workstations and equipment.
  • Strong communication skills and readiness to interact with various professionals and suppliers.
