Responsibilities
- Develop, design, build, or purchase manufacturing workstations and equipment.
- Collaborate with equipment integrators from development to operations handoff.
- Install, commission, and qualify new equipment and fixtures.
- Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) feedback to the engineering team.
- Document robust processes ensuring safety, uptime, and quality.
- Debug and resolve time-sensitive issues with manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Train hands-on labor on new manufacturing equipment and processes.
Job Requirements
- BS in Engineering; advanced degrees are a plus.
- 3+ years of equipment or manufacturing engineering experience in an electro-mechanical assembly environment.
- Ability to support the purchase and setup of novel automated manufacturing equipment.
- Experience in writing Standard Operating Procedures and manufacturing documentation.
- Collaboration skills with design engineers for DFM feedback.
- Hands-on experience in building and testing workstations and equipment.
- Strong communication skills and readiness to interact with various professionals and suppliers.
