Student Worker Program - Associate Electrical Hardware Engineer

This role is for a Student Worker Program as an Associate Electrical Hardware Engineer focusing on in-cabin devices with innovative electronics design at Ford Motor Company.

• Electrical design including schematic and layout of key electrical boards.
• Guidance to OEMs on executing designs.
• Bring up designs done in-house and at OEMs.
• Test designs for reliability and validity.
• Run testing of prototype circuits and vendor EVBs.
• Experiment with innovative new designs.
• Collaborate on proof of concepts and designs meant for production.

• 3 years or more in an accredited Electrical Engineering curriculum or equivalent.
• Experience or interest in eCAD tools.
• Knowledge in DC/DC converters, transmission lines, common data buses, and analog circuits.
• Familiarity with board design and layout best practices.
• Python scripting experience is a plus.
• C/C++ coding experience is a plus.
• Interest in the automotive industry and experience working on cars is desirable.
