Responsibilities
- Lead systems engineering and functional safety engineering activities for vehicle systems.
- Oversee systems integration for all vehicle system abstraction layers.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and testing teams.
- Ensure timely requirement cascades to stakeholders and suppliers.
- Work with testing teams to develop and execute Design Verification Plans.
- Engage hands-on with product designs and prototypes.
- Support project management in resource allocation for engineering processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in production applications for vehicle engineering and systems.
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 or similar safety standards.
- Strong engineering communication skills.
- Experience with safety-related operating systems and embedded software development.
- Practical experience with systems engineering methods for complex systems.
