Responsibilities
- Lead the development of trim programs, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgets.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Collaborate with stakeholders for clear communication and project alignment.
- Develop and implement innovative trim design solutions that meet quality standards.
- Ensure optimal seat appearance and craftsmanship through collaboration with engineers.
- Stay updated on industry trends related to trim materials and manufacturing processes.
- Manage the Change Management process and collaborate on documentation and engineering data release.
Job Requirements
- Engineering Degree, preferably in Textile Engineering or related field.
- Experience with complete trim development cycles from initial patterns to production.
- Proficiency in cut and sew processes using relevant machinery.
- Experience in a production environment for trim pattern development is preferred.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and data-driven solutions.
- Ability to travel to support suppliers and manufacturing plants as needed.
- Experience leading DFMEA and DFAM meetings for trim cover development.
