Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to minimize and standardize assembly joints.
- Develop and implement innovative joining solutions for manufacturing efficiency.
- Manage fastener and clip validation, including test management and documentation.
- Lead CAD authoring and PLM library management for vehicle programs.
- Ensure quality at launch by specifying assembly equipment and validating design conditions.
- Train design engineers on fastener and clip fundamentals.
- Adapt and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent.
- 7+ years of experience in the automotive or related field.
- Strong fundamentals in mechanical joining systems and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling.
- Proficiency in Atlassian and Microsoft productivity suites.
- Excellent technical communication skills.
- Preferred experience in designing and testing mechanical joining systems and electric vehicle engineering.
