Responsibilities
- Own process development for new products (NPI), including DFM/DFA reviews and production launch.
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation such as process flows and work instructions.
- Perform time studies and line balancing to meet throughput and cost targets.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- Specify and validate tooling and test equipment, collaborating with various departments.
- Drive root-cause analysis and implement robust process controls.
- Support change management processes and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4-6+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
- Proven skills in Lean problem-solving and data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in CAD software for fixture and design reviews.
- Hands-on experience with process documentation and change control.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and capacity modeling.
- Strong communication skills and knowledge of automation basics.
