Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing engineering assignments to ensure quality and cost-effective production.
- Provide day-to-day manufacturing engineering support in a fast-paced environment on the shop floor.
- Give engineering feedback to the design team regarding production capabilities and practices.
- Coordinate with support groups to develop capabilities for new products.
- Ensure efficient manufacturing by meeting quality, cost, and operational standards.
- Apply Lean manufacturing principles to enhance production processes.
- Investigate injection molding and assembly process issues at the cell level.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET certified university.
- 1-2 years of related experience.
- Proficiency in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement principles (e.g., Lean, Kaizen).
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building productive relationships.
- Capability to manage high-pressure workloads and understand the impact of duties.
