Responsibilities
- Select suitable suppliers based on quality, capability, pricing, and delivery.
- Implement new supplier qualifications and manage qualification databases.
- Conduct failure analysis and manage non-conforming materials.
- Drive supplier corrective actions during pilot runs and facilitate transition to mass production.
- Perform quality audits on suppliers to ensure compliance with ISO standards.
- Guide teams in identifying risks related to new product designs and processes.
- Establish and maintain supplier management processes and tools.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 6 years of experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry.
- Manufacturing floor experience required.
- Knowledge of ISO 9000 / AS 9100 standards.
- Experience in Metrology preferred.
- Six Sigma or Lean Certification (Green or Black belt).
- Proficient in using a variety of technical and inspection tools.
