Mechanical Engineering Intern - Summer 2025

The role is for a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Flex in Dallas, Texas, aimed at supporting engineering tasks while gaining experience in a collaborative environment.

• Assist Engineering Team with time studies and documentation review.
• Monitor Lean Manufacturing implementations.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Team to write reports and present findings.
• Attend team meetings and support project work as needed.
• Assist in New Product and Process Introduction for a Greenfield facility.

• Junior/Senior student pursuing a Mechanical/Industrial Engineering major.
• Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD/Solidworks).
• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma is helpful.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Strong collaboration, creativity, and communication skills.
• Previous engineering-related internship experience is a plus.
