Responsibilities
- Analyze and develop operative methods to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Document current methods and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct time and motion studies to gather data on work processes.
- Utilize MOST and MODAPTS methodologies to establish time standards.
- Perform ergonomic assessments of workstations and processes.
- Create and modify layout designs using AutoCAD.
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Familiarity with time and motion study methodologies.
- Basic understanding of ergonomic principles and assessment techniques.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for layout design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 and availability for a 10-12 week Summer assignment.
