Responsibilities
- Develop and design facility layouts using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Create 2D and 3D representations of current layouts.
- Collaborate with teams to gather layout design requirements.
- Analyze current process flows and document them accurately.
- Utilize process mapping techniques to identify inefficiencies.
- Prepare visual aids and presentations for stakeholders.
- Conduct assessments of layouts and propose improvements.
Job Requirements
- MS level student in Industrial Engineering or related major.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Available to work 40 hours/week for 10-12 weeks during the Summer.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
