Responsibilities
- Work with teams to determine requirements for remotely driven laboratory devices.
- Develop, test, and maintain software drivers for automated equipment.
- Collaborate on hardware-software integration and system testing.
- Support system deployments and troubleshoot issues.
- Design and develop APIs for remote device operation.
- Document processes, technical specifications, and safety requirements.
- Utilize programming languages and robotics control systems in development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in programming and device driver development.
- Specialization in robotic sample handling and manipulation.
- Knowledge of systems networking and communication protocols.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with lab automation or life science instrumentation is a plus.
