Responsibilities
- Provide vision and leadership for structural design and integration of vehicles.
- Lead and mentor a multi-discipline engineering team.
- Serve as chief architect for integrated airframe and tank structures.
- Establish and maintain department standards and compliance.
- Define and manage budget, schedules, and deliverables for the department.
- Oversee hardware development and qualification test definitions.
- Coordinate with program leadership to align structural milestones with company objectives.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years in aerospace structures with 5+ years in a leadership role.
- B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, or related field.
- Proven experience in structural design/analysis and qualification testing.
- Proficiency in FEM and hand analysis techniques.
- Experience in change control and configuration management.
- Hands-on involvement in design, analysis, and testing while leading teams.
- Familiarity with aerospace standards and rigorous testing environments.
