Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, construct, and evaluate prototypes while maintaining design standards.
- Lead the mechanical design of amplifiers, pedals, and accessory products.
- Ensure correct interfacing of electronic and mechanical components and adherence to thermal design standards.
- Perform tolerance analyses on designs as needed.
- Communicate design decisions and trade-offs with product and manufacturing teams.
- Devise solutions for technical problems in production and create engineering change notices.
- Utilize Solidworks CAD and Simulation software for mechanical design development.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a BSME or equivalent.
- 7+ years of experience in Electro–Mechanical design.
- Strong task management and Solidworks skills, with experience in surfacing and sheet metal preferred.
- Knowledge of FEA tools and Solidworks Simulation.
- Design and analysis skills with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of electronic circuitry and PCBA standards preferred.
- Ability to work hands-on in the shop to build prototypes and test fixtures.
