Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and test amplifier, pedal, and accessory products.
- Utilize prototype technology to create testable prototypes early in development.
- Host and participate in design reviews for all R&D projects.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers, industrial designers, drafters, electrical engineers, project management, and manufacturing engineers.
- Attend evening meetings with overseas OEM factories if required.
- Evaluate First Article Samples.
- Perform tolerance analysis on critical product features.
Job Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering Degree with 0-2 years of product development experience.
- Experience in related electro-mechanical design is preferred.
- Strong Solidworks skills, with sheet metal experience preferred.
- Some knowledge of FEA tools and Solidworks Simulation preferred.
- Good design, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of electronic circuitry and PCBA standards is a plus.
- Ability to work in the shop and build prototypes and test fixtures.
