Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing and improving manufacturing processes for safety, efficiency, and quality.
- Support production teams in troubleshooting process-related issues.
- Participate in time studies, workflow analysis, and process documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers and supervisors for cost reduction and process optimization.
- Assist in implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement projects.
- Engage with production staff to learn operational challenges and support solutions.
- Prepare and present a final project/report summarizing key learnings and contributions.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong interest in manufacturing processes and operations.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
