Responsibilities
- Support product development of new concepts and technologies for next generation wearable technology.
- Work with the team on technology development projects through creation of functional prototypes and development of test methods.
- Design product components and systems for consumer electronics.
- Contribute to the creation of technical specifications and product definition.
- Help design electromechanical systems for device testing and validation.
- Develop and implement test methods for design validation.
- Work closely with a cross-functional team consisting of EE, FW/SW, Audio, Optical, REL, and Manufacturing Engineering.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience designing and shipping components or systems for consumer electronics or similar industries.
- Strong engineering fundamentals and experience with material science relevant to consumer electronics.
- Experience with production drawings to GD&T standard and tolerance analysis.
- Familiarity with various manufacturing technologies for production and prototyping.
- Data analysis and visualization experience (Matlab, Python, JMP, or similar).
- Proficient in Siemens NX and/or SolidWorks.
