Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer role at Eyebot involves leading the design, development, and scaling of embedded and electromechanical systems for vision care technology. The position requires collaboration with mechanical, software, and product teams to prototype and ensure hardware readiness for production.

• Design, prototype, and validate custom PCBs for kiosks and testing tools.
• Integrate image sensors, microcontrollers, lighting, motors, and power systems into hardware.
• Develop firmware for device control and cloud communication.
• Work with embedded platforms like NVIDIA Jetson and Raspberry Pi.
• Debug issues across electrical, firmware, and system layers.
• Contribute to EVT/DVT builds and production testing processes.
• Document schematics and procedures for manufacturing compliance.

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in designing and debugging custom PCBs.
• Proficient in embedded firmware development (C/C++).
• Familiarity with microcontrollers and embedded platforms.
• Strong understanding of circuit design and power regulation.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools like oscilloscopes.
• Portfolio or documentation demonstrating relevant hardware work.
