Responsibilities
- Prepare CAD drawings and one-line diagrams.
- Conduct load calculations and ensure code compliance.
- Develop equipment room sizes and manage specifications.
- Coordinate with other disciplines and respond to RFIs.
- Manage design processes and deliver documentation within budget.
- Perform QA/QC reviews and mentor designers.
- Understand and apply HVAC system design concepts.
Job Requirements
- Engineering degree in HVAC/Mechanical Engineering.
- 5-10 years of HVAC design experience.
- EIT certification is desired.
- Proficiency in REVIT MEP and AutoCAD.
- Experience in energy modeling with Trane/Trace.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems for various projects.
- Strong understanding of design risks in humid climates.
