Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation and process control schemes for the JPOD continuous manufacturing platform.
- Maintain and govern the global validated DeltaV library.
- Define global software development life cycle (SDLC) for DeltaV.
- Collaborate with site automation teams to support objectives.
- Develop specifications, qualifications, SOPs, and training documents.
- Lead technical root cause analysis and troubleshooting of process control issues.
- Provide project oversight on PAS implementation projects with third-party suppliers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or Engineering and 5+ years of experience; or Associate’s degree and 8+ years; or High school diploma with 10+ years.
- 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences.
- Strong background in control system automation.
- Understanding of FDA CFR 21 Part 11 compliance.
- Proven engineering and project management skills.
- Proficiency in coding in DeltaV.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
