Responsibilities
- Design and implement FPGA-based solutions for aerospace applications, focusing on control systems and communication protocols.
- Develop VHDL/Verilog code optimized for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to define FPGA requirements.
- Develop and test FPGA firmware ensuring compliance with safety-critical standards.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex FPGA designs using appropriate tools.
- Participate in system-level design reviews and acceptance testing.
- Mentor junior FPGA engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in FPGA design and development, particularly in aerospace.
- Proficiency in VHDL and/or Verilog for FPGA development.
- Extensive experience with FPGA development tools (e.g., Microchip Libero, Xilinx Vivado).
- Strong knowledge of aerospace system design and communication protocols.
- Experience in safety-critical environments (e.g., DO-254, DO-178).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
