Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for spacecraft electrical systems and coordinate development across a high-performing team.
- Own the architecture, development roadmap, and system integration of spacecraft electrical subsystems.
- Lead electrical trades, part selection, and compliance planning.
- Oversee board-level designs incorporating FPGAs, microcontrollers, and mixed-signal circuits.
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, systems, and RF teams to meet mission objectives.
- Direct and mentor a small team of electrical engineers.
- Support project-level planning, cost/schedule estimation, and vendor engagement for electrical work packages.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in electrical system design for aerospace or high-reliability embedded systems.
- Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional hardware teams.
- Deep understanding of power architectures, avionics interfaces, and high-reliability design.
- Proficiency with Altium.
- Strong experience with hardware bring-up and lab testing.
- Familiarity with radiation effects and part selection strategies for LEO missions.
