Responsibilities
- Work with NPI engineers on assigned NPI projects as a liaison between Product Engineering and Operations.
- Influence product and process design for manufacturability.
- Participate in the development of manufacturing plans for assigned projects.
- Contribute to improvement projects to maximize gross margin and predictability.
- Potentially lead a sub-project related to larger projects.
- Prepare process documentation to support product launch.
- Assist with analyses and audits on processes for safety, quality, cost, waste reductions, and efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled student in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a similar major.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence personnel at all levels.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and technical writing skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple activities to accomplish division goals.
- Must be available to work 40 hours a week during the co-op period.
- Must be familiar with university co-op program requirements.
- Must not require immigration sponsorship for the role.
