Responsibilities
- Collaborate with production and Sr. Process Engineers to drive efficiency initiatives.
- Assist in projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
- Identify root causes of issues and propose solutions.
- Apply manufacturing best practices to enhance safety, quality, reliability, and predictability.
- Analyze information and develop process solutions collaboratively.
- Direct and control processes according to defined policies and procedures.
- Communicate and influence personnel across various levels within the organization.
Job Requirements
- Must be a currently enrolled student in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- Availability to work 40 hours a week during the co-op period.
- Strong problem-solving skills using engineering principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
- Motivated, self-directed, and possess good interpersonal skills.
- Must lift 30 lbs as part of physical requirements.
- Familiarity with university co-op program requirements.
