Industrial Engineering Intern - Summer 2026

The role is for an Industrial Engineering Intern at Entegris, focusing on optimizing manufacturing and materials processes in a high-tech production environment during the Summer 2026 season.

• Evaluate current processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct time studies and develop capacity models for equipment and processes.
• Support weekly Gemba walks and improve SOPs.
• Assist with maintaining and updating master data in SAP.
• Participate in projects aimed at reducing cycle time and scrap, and improving productivity.
• Collaborate with Industrial Engineers, Operations managers, and Process Engineers.
• Work onsite for up to 3 months, 40 hours a week.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Ability to adapt to different team dynamics and cultures.
• Good communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with IE concepts and process improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be a currently enrolled student with junior level status at a minimum.
