Director, R&D Engineering

The Director of R&D Engineering at Entegris leads the development of next-generation semiconductor hardware solutions, guiding a multidisciplinary team through the product lifecycle from design to deployment.

• Lead a multidisciplinary team in the design and development of semiconductor delivery systems.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers on design, testing, and improvements of delivery systems.
• Research and improve hardware sub-components for enhanced customer satisfaction.
• Manage intellectual property development in collaboration with legal.
• Develop performance metrics for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee the transition of design concepts to manufacturing partners.
• Engage with marketing and customers on functional requirements.

• 10+ years of engineering experience in a related discipline.
• Minimum BS degree in engineering; MS preferred.
• 5+ years in a leadership role in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience with ALD/CVD delivery systems and 3rd party manufacturers.
• Hands-on experience with Design for Six Sigma methodology.
• Proven project execution skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
