Responsibilities
- Develop procedures for investigating field return units and manage known issues.
- Perform detailed investigations of field failures in the engineering investigation tier.
- Make electrical design changes in Altium for product improvements.
- Present findings and recommend mitigations for failures to team members.
- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers as needed.
- Participate in design reviews and assist with testing and debugging of new products.
- Work closely with a small team to ensure high-quality hardware product development.
Job Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience as an electrical engineer or in a related role.
- BS in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Strong expertise in testing and analysis of electrical systems.
- Familiarity with AC and DC power systems and basic electrical lab equipment.
- Experience with schematic and layout tools, preferably Altium Designer.
- Knowledge of renewable energy concepts such as lithium-ion batteries and solar arrays.
- Strong writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
