Responsibilities
- Interact with NI customers, staff, and external partners to design and sustain custom solutions.
- Generate requirements documents, statements of work, and Bills of Materials.
- Define and implement project plans, leading milestones and reviews.
- Specify, design, prototype, test, and deploy turnkey automated solutions.
- Direct support personnel and lead project technical deliverables.
- Travel as needed (up to 25%) for project objectives.
- Diagnose technical issues and propose reasonable solutions.
Job Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience in Hardware Systems Design or Test Engineering.
- US Person status for ITAR projects and DoD Clearances.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering and electronics.
- Familiarity with high-level programming languages (LabVIEW, TestStand, C/C++/C#).
- Knowledge of measurement error sources and instrumentation selection.
- Experience with CAD and PCB design tools.
