Responsibilities
- Create new innovative and practical product designs according to company specifications.
- Develop product design models in 3D CAD.
- Analyze engineering problems and recommend solutions.
- Perform engineering calculations to verify product design.
- Execute detailed component design including tolerancing and material selection.
- Create and evaluate test programs to validate product performance.
- Maintain engineering documentation in support of product design.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 2+ years of direct design experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
- Ability to design mechanical components with an understanding of material properties and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with 3D CAD software (preferably Solid-Edge).
- Understanding of FEA tools and result interpretation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office suite.
- Effective communication and decision-making abilities.
