The role is for an entry-level Analog Hardware Design Engineer within Emerson’s Test & Measurement Systems group, focusing on product development in analog hardware design, including design, prototyping, and testing in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Learn professional analog design techniques including schematic design and board validation.
  • Design and simulate analog signal conditioning circuits for test and measurement products.
  • Create supporting circuitry for test and measurement products.
  • Use EDA software for schematic entry and PCB layout.
  • Create and execute validation plans and test code.
  • Review and approve product specifications and customer documentation.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of analog design principles.
  • Proficiency in frequency-domain and time-domain design.
  • Knowledge of operational amplifiers and data converters.
  • Experience with PCB design and testing techniques.
  • Understanding of programming languages (e.g., LabVIEW, Python, C, C++).
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
