The role is for an entry-level Analog Hardware Design Engineer within Emerson’s Test & Measurement Systems group, focusing on product development in analog hardware design, including design, prototyping, and testing in Austin, TX.
Responsibilities
- Learn professional analog design techniques including schematic design and board validation.
- Design and simulate analog signal conditioning circuits for test and measurement products.
- Create supporting circuitry for test and measurement products.
- Use EDA software for schematic entry and PCB layout.
- Create and execute validation plans and test code.
- Review and approve product specifications and customer documentation.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- Strong knowledge of analog design principles.
- Proficiency in frequency-domain and time-domain design.
- Knowledge of operational amplifiers and data converters.
- Experience with PCB design and testing techniques.
- Understanding of programming languages (e.g., LabVIEW, Python, C, C++).
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
