Responsibilities
- Conduct remote and onsite testing for various generation projects (wind, solar, conventional, energy storage).
- Perform bulk power system studies using power system software (PSS/e, PSCAD, Aspen, PSLF).
- Conduct engineering studies for new technologies (inverters, wind turbines, Bulk Energy Storage Systems).
- Process, generate, and maintain data as required.
- Ensure timely completion of projects while meeting quality and budget objectives.
- Identify training needs and communicate them to the Engineering Manager.
- Enhance existing procedures and workflows continuously.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering (power system emphasis); post-graduate preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills for client interaction and leading testing sessions.
- Experience with Power Flow Studies, Transient Stability Studies, Dynamic Modeling, etc.
- Onsite field testing experience preferred.
- Familiarity with power plant controller operation and related systems.
- Proficiency in power system software tools (PSS/e, PSLF, DSATools, PSCAD, ETAP, ASPEN).
- Strong organizational, communication, and technical/report writing skills.
