Responsibilities
- Support developers in navigating interconnection processes across WECC.
- Advise stakeholders on interconnection-related matters using critical thinking skills.
- Review interconnection study results and identify errors or alternative mitigations.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop new tools and services.
- Drive expansion into new regions.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and technologies.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders and support responses to RFPs and grants.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the electric energy industry.
- Experience in IBR modelling, transmission planning, and interconnection studies.
- Strong understanding of FERC, NERC, and ISO requirements.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant software packages (e.g., PSLF, PowerWorld).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Experience mentoring diverse teams.
- Beneficial experience with Utilities, TSPs, and Regulators in WECC.
