Responsibilities
- Support developers in navigating interconnection processes across the Western Interconnection System.
- Advise stakeholders on interconnection-related matters using critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Review interconnection study results and work with the team to identify errors or alternative mitigations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop new tools and services.
- Drive expansion into new regions and stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
- Lead and mentor teams while fostering a supportive culture.
- Develop relationships with stakeholders, clients, and regulatory agencies.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the electric energy industry.
- Experience in transmission planning and interconnection studies.
- Strong understanding of FERC, NERC, and ISO requirements.
- Proficiency in software packages such as PSLF, PowerWorld, PSSE, PSCAD, TARA, and ASPEN.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience in mentoring diverse teams.
