Responsibilities
- Architect and design complex electromechanical systems with various components.
- Drive designs through the entire development lifecycle, including CAD, prototyping, testing, and production ramp-up.
- Collaborate with industrial design, marketing, and product teams to shape product features.
- Solve cross-functional problems with electrical, software, reliability, and manufacturing teams.
- Perform analysis and testing to ensure designs meet product goals, including thermal and structural analysis.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of consumer product design experience with knowledge of electromechanical systems.
- Proven track record of shipping high-volume consumer products and manufacturing support in Asia.
- Proficiency with 3D modeling and simulation tools (e.g., Solidworks, NX, Creo).
- Experience with manufacturing processes, design for manufacturability, and tolerance analysis.
- Solid understanding of quality measuring techniques such as root cause analysis and DOEs.
- BSME or equivalent; MS preferred.
