Responsibilities
- Contribute to all phases of the product lifecycle, including Definition, Exploration, Architecting, Design, Development, Verification, Production, and Sustainment.
- Design mechanical components using Solidworks.
- Apply knowledge of mechanical considerations for PCBA design and packaging.
- Conduct thermal, stress, and modal analysis for design validation.
- Collaborate with product development team members and suppliers.
- Ensure designs meet environmental and operational requirements.
- Participate in team projects from initial concept to delivery.
Job Requirements
- BS Degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or similar engineering discipline.
- Two or more years of experience in an engineering role.
- Knowledge of mechanical design and drafting using Solidworks.
- Understanding of thermal, electrical, and environmental considerations for electronics enclosure design.
- Experience with fabrication processes such as CNC machining and 3D printing.
- Ability to perform limited thermal and stress analysis.
- Eligibility to handle export-controlled data (ITAR, EAR).
