Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, and install electrical and electronic circuits, motors, controls, and equipment.
- Work extensively in the field on 480V-12kV equipment.
- Collaborate with a team to ensure quality work in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
- Uphold EBMUD's mission to provide reliable water and wastewater services.
- Participate in the selection process, including tests on electrical principles and practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and practices.
- Maintain a valid California driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Recognized journey level Electrician status or 16 months of comparable experience.
- Valid California driver's license.
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 90 pounds.
- Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work overtime in emergencies.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
