Responsibilities
- Provide design engineering services for turnkey projects.
- Guide teams of designers/engineers to create complete designs.
- Lead design deliverables to maintain project schedule and budget.
- Conduct value-added engineering for quality and efficiency.
- Lead medium/high voltage designs for substations and power distribution.
- Participate in site walk downs for new work proposals.
- Develop engineering estimates and maintain project schedules/budgets.
Job Requirements
- BS in engineering with 3-7 years of experience, or AS with 7-10 years, or 10-12 years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
- Must be located in specified states; no relocation offered.
- Preferred: Professional Engineer qualification and field experience in testing/commissioning.
- Knowledge of NERC/FERC, NESC, NEC, ANSI, NETA.
- Skills in equipment specifications, schematics, and SCADA design.
- Ability to mentor other engineers on the team.
