Responsibilities
- Collaborate with satellite sub-system teams to design satellite structures and mechanisms.
- Manage CAD assemblies and drawings, being a CAD modeling expert (SolidWorks).
- Develop build documents and drawings for hardware.
- Define, build, and test designs from 3D printed engineering units to flight hardware.
- Support the fabrication assembly and testing of flight builds.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Aerospace, or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of hands-on CAD experience in developing and building models and drawings.
- Proven success in implementing design solutions in complex environments.
- Experience with mechanical design for extreme environments and mass constraints.
- Bonus: Experience with complex satellite/space systems.
