Responsibilities
- Design satellite structures and mechanisms in collaboration with sub-system teams.
- Manage CAD assemblies and drawings using SolidWorks.
- Develop build documents and drawings for hardware.
- Define, build, and test designs from 3D printed engineering units to flight hardware.
- Support the fabrication, assembly, and testing of flight builds.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Aerospace, or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of hands-on experience with CAD skills for developing models and drawings.
- Proven implementation of design solutions in complex environments.
- Experience with mechanical design for extreme environments and mass constraints.
- Bonus: Experience with complex satellite/space systems.
