Responsibilities
- Plan, engineer, design, maintain, and review estimates and construction orders for assigned projects.
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering codes and standards for all projects.
- Perform technical calculations related to pole loading, cable pulling, and transformer loading.
- Consult with superiors and peers for design and cost information.
- Act as a Project Manager with limited guidance for assigned projects.
- Collaborate with Distribution Designers to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Attend customer project site meetings.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution required.
- Master’s degree from an ABET-accredited institution may be considered if the Bachelor's is not from an ABET-accredited school.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience required.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage projects effectively.
- Familiarity with engineering codes (NESC, NEC, ANSI, IEE) and standards.
- Strong analytical and technical skills for performing calculations.
