Responsibilities
- Develop replacement strategies for protective relay and control assets within substations.
- Manage maintenance and testing programs for protection systems in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead investigations and repairs during urgent trouble events.
- Interface with customers to plan and upgrade equipment at substations.
- Update and manage the Work Management System for asset changes.
- Mentor less experienced engineers in various engineering processes.
- Support restoration activities during power outages caused by storms.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in electric utility substations (preferred).
- Professional Engineer License (preferred).
- Leadership experience (preferred).
- Familiarity with ANSI/IEEE Standards (preferred).
- Experience with Doble RTS and Powerbase (preferred).
