Responsibilities
- Support daily activities of the Operations Center related to transmission and substation operations.
- Maintain accurate distribution circuit metrics and investigate customer reliability complaints.
- Perform studies to ensure transmission and sub transmission reliability.
- Work with Transmission Planning and SCADA to maintain EMS software and models.
- Develop operating guides and procedures for system reliability.
- Provide technical support for emergency preparedness drills and system restoration plans.
- Prepare reports and maintain databases related to transmission and sub transmission systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
- Two or more years of related experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Familiarity with SQL and Python.
- Experience with SCADA systems and State Estimator Modeling.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
