Responsibilities
- Support daily activities of the Operations Center related to transmission and substation operations.
- Maintain accurate distribution circuit metrics and investigate customer reliability complaints.
- Conduct studies to ensure transmission and sub transmission reliability.
- Collaborate with System Planning, Protection, and Compliance.
- Maintain the DLC EMS software program and models.
- Develop operating guides and procedures for system reliability.
- Provide technical support for the System Restoration Plan and participate in emergency preparedness drills.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
- Two or more years of related experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Preferred: Master Degree in Electrical Engineering and utility experience.
- Familiarity with SQL and Python.
- Experience in SCADA systems and State Estimator Modeling.
- Strong organizational, computer, and problem-solving skills.
