Responsibilities
- Support daily activities of the Operations Center related to transmission and substation operations.
- Maintain accurate distribution circuit metrics and track inoperable equipment.
- Conduct studies to ensure transmission and subtransmission reliability.
- Collaborate with System Planning, Protection, and Compliance teams.
- Maintain the DLC EMS software program and models with the Transmission Planning and SCADA teams.
- Develop operating guides and procedures for system reliability.
- Participate in emergency preparedness drills and provide technical support for emergency plans.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
- Strong organizational, computer, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license for travel to various company locations.
- Utility experience and a PE License preferred.
- Experience in SCADA systems, OMS systems, and State Estimator Modeling preferred.
- Ability to work variable on-site, including during non-typical hours for emergency situations.
- Position can be filled at level II or III based on experience and education.
