Responsibilities
- Support daily activities of the Operations Center regarding transmission and subtransmission systems.
- Maintain accurate distribution circuit metrics and track inoperable equipment.
- Perform studies to ensure transmission and subtransmission reliability.
- Assist with System Planning, Protection, and Compliance as needed.
- Maintain the DLC EMS software program and models in collaboration with Transmission Planning and SCADA.
- Develop operating guides and procedures for system reliability.
- Provide technical support for the System Restoration Plan and participate in emergency preparedness drills.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
- Strong organizational, computer, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to various locations.
- Utility experience preferred.
- PE License is a plus.
- Experience with SCADA and OMS systems.
- Ability to work variable on-site as needed.
