Responsibilities
- Perform design and field work on overhead and underground distribution facilities.
- Prepare drawings, specifications, and estimates for assigned projects.
- Use software to create or modify design and construction drawings.
- Conduct field inspections of facilities and customer work for compliance.
- Coordinate projects and serve as a point of contact for customers and representatives.
- Review joint use attachment applications to Company assets.
- Assist GIS Technicians with data collection and maintenance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology or an Associate's degree in relevant fields.
- Up to 1 year of related work experience preferred.
- Minimum of three years’ experience as a step 7 Technician to advance.
- Must pass a standardized test and demonstrate knowledge of safety regulations.
- Proficiency in electrical computations and working with customers.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of CAD and GIS systems.
- Valid State Driver’s License.
