Responsibilities
- Perform design and field work on overhead and underground distribution facilities.
- Prepare drawings, specifications, calculations, and permit requests for assigned projects.
- Use software to prepare design and construction drawings and manage company assets.
- Conduct field inspections of facilities and customer work for compliance with specifications.
- Coordinate project timelines and communicate with customers and representatives.
- Review applications for joint use attachment to company assets.
- Assist GIS Technicians with digital data collection as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, or an Associate's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Technology.
- Up to 1 year of related work experience preferred or 7 years of Journey Lineworker experience.
- Must pass a company-administered standardized test (TECH).
- Knowledge of distribution and subtransmission systems and associated construction practices.
- Proficiency in mathematical and electrical computations.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of CAD and GIS systems.
- Valid State Driver’s License.
