Responsibilities
- Perform design and field work for overhead and underground distribution facilities.
- Prepare drawings, specifications, and permit requests for assigned projects.
- Use software to create or modify design and construction drawings.
- Conduct field inspections of facilities and customer work.
- Coordinate projects for timely completion and serve as a point of contact for customers.
- Review applications for joint use attachment to company assets.
- Assist GIS Technicians with digital data collection as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, or an Associate's degree with relevant experience.
- Up to 1 year of related work experience preferred.
- Minimum of three years’ experience as a step 7 Technician for advancement.
- Knowledge of distribution and subtransmission systems and associated construction practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD/GIS systems.
- Must have a valid State Driver’s License.
- Ability to work with customers and possess good organizational skills.
