Responsibilities
- Specify, design, develop, document and test new firmware functions in DFS dispenser products.
- Perform sustaining work on existing firmware in DFS dispenser products.
- Develop/sustain Windows software applications used throughout the product/component lifecycle.
- Complete individual assignments defined in JIRA with minimal supervision.
- Assist in solving reported field issues closely with support teams.
- Apply good judgment in meeting tight schedules while maintaining superior quality.
- Perform design reviews and code reviews.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent working knowledge of C and C++ programming languages.
- 5+ years’ experience of real-time embedded development in MCU controlled embedded systems.
- Strong willingness to learn and pick up new technology/project with minimal guidance.
- Good knowledge of embedded system designs in general including hardware.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Team player and self-starter with minimal supervision.
- Ability to effectively communicate with others, both verbally and in writing.
